Changing your Garry's Mod Server Gamemode

Having the knowledge to change your Garry's Mod Server gamemode is essential for any server owner, changing your gamemode is made extremely simple through Vertuo Hosting.

How to change your Garry's Mod Server Gamemode

Mod Manager → Gamemodes → Install


After installing a gamemode of your choice navigate to the following

Files → garrysmod → gamemodes

Then change the folder name to the following depending on the gamemode.

Nutscript-1.1 = nutscript

DarkRP-master = darkrp

helix-master = helix

TTT2-master = terrortown

After you have changed the Gamemode folder name navigate to the following

Startup → Gamemode


Input the name of the Gamemode folder into the Gamemode variable.

After inputting your gamemode into the Gamemode variable under the Startup tab restart your server!
