Changing your Garry's Mod Server Name in Server Listing

Changing your Garry's Mod Server Name in the server.cfg allows for you to display your server in the listing how you wish.

How to change your Garry's Mod Server Name in Server Listing

Navigate to files → garrysmod → cfg → server.cfg


Within the server.cfg you will see hostname following with the server name in quotations.


This will display the server in the listing as New Server Hosted by VertuoHosting.com

You may change this by changing the words within quotations.


After restarting the server it will now be displayed as Example Server in the listing.

Restart your server after editing the server.cfg
